FCCC Says Goodbye to the 2016/2017 School Year

FCCC says goodbye to the 2016/2017 school year.

As summer approaches we reflect back on another terrific year at all of our FCCC sites. The children in our care spent the past year learning, exploring and growing. Our dedicated educators provided many opportunities for children to connect to nature, to gain a sense of belonging, to express themselves in many ways and to practice well-being.

Our educators also grew professionally as they embraced our emergent curriculum practices, became more comfortable with documentation and implemented the FCCC Program Statement. This was displayed during our May in-service. Here they learned about the learning journey of one of our educators and then shared their centre’s documentation with each other. Everyone participated and everyone was proud to share their work. Well done FCCC Educators. It is now a time for some well deserved summer vacation time!

Sadly due to declining enrolment we have had to close our doors at Glenburnie P.S. We have truly made some great memories with this school community. We will always hold those close to us and wish the school and our families good luck in all that they do.

Looking forward to September we are very happy to see that our enrollment at all sites is looking very healthy. We have a few sporadic spaces available.
