The Infant, Preschool, and Toddler rooms at LCVI

Preschoolers

The LCVI preschool room has been making many connections. The children have been examining their environment and taking notice of the nature around them.

They have also found many exciting ways to use the loose parts to create new things, and to display their creativity and curiosity.

Our preschoolers were excited to decorate our room for the holidays. They still take delight in moving the decorations around on our Christmas tree.

We were invited to see a short preview of the LCVI production of “Grease”. The children were so mesmerized by the lights and singing and dancing! After wards, we were invited backstage to meet some actors and checkout the props.

The preschoolers are anxiously waiting for the snow to arrive! We are doing lots of talking about what we will do when it snows!

When you come to visit our toddler room at LCVI, you will find adorable inquisitive minds. Our toddlers love to explore with colours, loose parts and so much more. When the music goes on our toddlers love to dance. The children love to turn our blocks into musical instruments and strike up a band.

Our children love to explore different textures. From creating different sensory bins, to adding new smells to our Play-Doh, these are things we always find very comforting and enjoyable.

infants lcviInfants

Once upon a time in the infant room at LCVI … we came without knowing, only to find, that we grew together and became a family.

We love to get messy with art, sand and anything wet while we discover and explore the room with our loose parts. Dancing to a jig, a song to be sung, our infant room is so much fun!
