Spring into Loughborough!
Spring has sprung and it has brought a new season of outdoor adventure for the FCCC-Loughborough Preschoolers. The children at Loughborough are very fortunate to have access to many greenspaces that are ready for exploration! So far, they have spent a morning walking the Cataraqui Trail, stopping many times to take it all in: The thawed lake and the young duck families are just a very small example of the views. Of course you can’t pass by a lake without throwing a few stones into the water! The children have spent time rolling down the large grassy hill, the very same hill they enjoyed tobogganing down not so long ago. Oh the joy of seasons! They have visited the village rock garden, decorated their own rocks and gone on an epic bug hunt. They certainly are not fair-weather adventurers and recommend always, ALWAYS searching for puddles and mud pits. These children know there is something special about exploring their natural world in all seasons, and have grown to develop a strong connection and respect for nature.
